CABINET VISION And ALPHACAM Cut It At Australia’s Leading Woodworking Show
“It’s reassuring to know you’ve invested in the right company when you see the size of the company and number of staff. We have the confidence that they’ll be able to help our business succeed.”
Those are the words of Luke O’Shea, from Cos Interiors, when he visited CABINET VISION and ALPHACAM reseller Planit Cutting Edge Solutions’ stand at the Australia AWISA show.
Run by the Australian Woodworking Industry Suppliers Association, the four-day event at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre was the ideal showcase for Planit to demonstrate the vital role of software in designing and detailing a project, as well as creating all the information required for quick, trouble-free production.
As well as featuring CABINET VISION and ALPHACAM, Planit’s stand also enabled visitors to try CABINET VISION’s specialist labelling module, Label IT, using a touch screen. Blake Cugley, Planit’s Marketing Co-Ordinator, says: “With the ongoing development of labelling technology, including on-board auto labelling on many CNC machines, our Label IT station gave many visitors the opportunity to learn about the real benefits that labelling gives their manufacturing process.”
CABINET VISION and ALPHACAM were also used on a number of their machinery partners’ stand, giving full working machining demonstrations. Blake Cugley says: “Planit are proud to have many long-standing existing relationships with machinery companies and other suppliers in the industry.”
Richard Chappell, CABINET VISION General Manager, says: “This two-storey stand from our largest reseller was constantly busy throughout the four days, and the foot traffic was the best among all exhibitors.”
While the business activities ensured that Planit exceeded their sales targets for the show, there was time for customers to relax over a coffee, or test their skills in a race car simulator.
